AGE-NC Project No 98-0448 <br />' Page 5 of 9 <br />' From field data collected at the SVE remediation system between 08 June 2005 and <br /> 07 September 2005, AGE determined the average TPH-g concentration and the average flow rate <br /> and calculated the approximate mass and volume of hydrocarbons removed <br /> 1 <br /> 4 1 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT <br />' On 29 September 2005, the depths to ground water were measured at between 18 42 feet and 20 94 <br /> feet below the tops of the well casings (Table 2) The September 2005 ground water elevations at <br />' the site were calculated to be between 9 42 feet (MW-7) and 11 81 feet(MW-4B) below mean sea <br /> level (MSL), ground water elevations are depicted on Figure 3 Ground water elevations at the site <br /> averaged 10 49 feet below MSL on 29 September 2005 Ground water elevations have decreased an <br />' average of 136 feet between the June 2005 and the September 2005 ground water monitoring <br /> events <br />' The September 2005 ground water flow direction at the site was Inferred to be south-southwest, at <br /> an approximate gradient of 0 010 ft/ft(Figure 3) The flow direction this quarter was consistent with <br /> historical flow directions <br />' 42 LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was not detected In the water samples collected from wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-4A,MW-413 <br />' and MW-6 during the September 2005 sampling event The inferred extent of dissolved TPH-g <br /> during the September 2005 ground water monitoring event is depicted in plan view in Figure 4 <br />' Total xylenes were detected at a concentration of 7 3 micrograms per liter(pg/l), from well MW-2, <br /> benzene was not detected in any water samples <br />' No other fuel components were detected by laboratory analysis Previous and current analytical <br /> results of ground water monitoring well samples are summarized in Tables 3 and 4 The laboratory <br /> reports (Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories I D 0506-9264),-quality assurance/quality control <br /> I (QA/QC) and chain of custody forms are presented in Appendix C, GeoTracker confirmation pages <br /> of the submitted laboratory electronic deliverable format(EDF) files are Included in Appendix G <br /> 43 RESULTS OF VAPOR EXTRACTION <br /> Between 08 June 2005 and 07 September 2005, the SVE and 1AS remediation systems were <br /> operational for a total of 2,184 hours(91 days), the SVE and IAS remediation systems have totaled <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
