INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Bob Long of Sierra Lumber,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this quarterly report documenting the procedures and results for the third quarter 2005 <br /> ground water monitoring event performed at 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California(the <br /> site), the report also documents June 2005 through September 2005 progress of the in-situ air <br /> Ispargmg(IAS)and soil vapor extraction(SVE)recovery system The objectives of the site activities <br /> were to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water,to assess ground <br /> water flow direction and gradient, and to monitor the progress and effectiveness of SVE and IAS <br /> remediation at the site The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well <br /> Iocations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region(RWQCB)for investigation of underground storage <br /> tank (UST) sites Analytical data for ground water and soil-gas vapor acquired to date is included <br /> in this report <br /> The following is a brief summary of site assessment and SVE/IAS remediation activities performed <br /> at the site between 08 June 2005 and 07 September 2005 (Third Quarter 2005) <br /> • Between 08 June 2005 and 07 September 2005 - Continued SVE remediation utilizing <br /> on-site SVE wells VW-1, VW-2 and VW-6, extracted a total of approximately 17 pounds <br /> of petroleum hydrocarbons from the subsurface <br /> I • 12 July 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 09 August 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br />' • 07 September 2005-Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 29 September 2005 - Quarterly ground water monitoring event (Third Quarter 2005) <br /> Iperformed at wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4A, MW-4B and MW-6 <br /> 2.0. GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> IOn 29 September 2005,ground water monitoring and sampling was performed at the site on selected <br /> ground water monitoring wells Ground water monitoring and sampling procedures for the site were <br /> outlined in Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study Work Plan, dated 02 March 1999,prepared by <br /> AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD)by <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmenta[,Inc <br /> I <br />
