INTRODUCTION <br /> At,the request of Mr Bob Long of Sierra Lumber, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br />' prepared this report of environmental activities conducted at 375 West Hazelton Avenue(the site), <br /> Stockton, California The objectives of the activities were to monitor dissolved petroleum <br />' hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water, to characterize ground water flow direction and <br /> gradient,and to monitor the progress and effectiveness of soil vapor extraction(SVE)and in-situ air <br /> sparging(TAS)remediation at the site The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water <br />' Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region(RWQCB)for investigation of underground storage <br /> tank(UST)sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in Corrective Action <br /> Plan, dated 15 February 2000 Analytical data for ground water acquired to date is included in this <br /> report <br /> lie 2.0. GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> On 17 June 2003, ground water momtonng and sampling were performed at the site on selected <br />' ground water monitoring wells Ground water monitoring and sampling procedures for the site were <br /> outlined in Remediallnvestigation/Feasibility Study Work Plan, dated 02 March 1999,prepared by <br />' AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) by <br /> letter dated 07 April 1999 As-built monitoring well construction details also are summarized in <br /> Table 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' Depth to ground water was measured in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-8 from the top of the <br /> well casing to the nearest 0 01--foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter The groundwater elevation <br />' in each well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed <br /> casing elevation(Table 1) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled site map <br /> (Figure 3) <br /> IAfter water levels were measured, approximately 8 to 10 gallons of ground water (a minimum of <br /> three casing-water volumes per well)were evacuated(purged)from wells MW-1,MW-2 and MW-6 <br /> utilizing a polyethylene disposable bailer Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured for <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
