7� a <br /> Y <br /> i 02 March 1999 <br /> t AGE-NC Project No 98-0448 <br /> Page 7 of 10 <br /> 41 RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> A search for all potential ground water conduits within a 2,000-foot radius of the site will consist <br /> of the following <br /> • A search of driller's water well logs on file with the Department of Water Resources, <br /> • A reconnaissance of visually observable potential receptors, <br /> • A search for City for Stockton municipal well locations with Cal-Water, <br /> • A search for San Joaquin County water well locations with PHS-EHD, <br /> • A search for federal water wells with the Bureau of Reclamation, <br /> • A search for septic systems with the San Joaquin County Solid Waste Program <br /> Results of the receptor survey will be included with the CAP <br /> 4 2 GROUND WATER EXTRACTION WELL INSTALLATION <br /> Installation of one ground water extraction well is proposed utilizing a truck-mounted drill rig <br /> equipped with 14-inch diameter hollow stem augers, the well will be advanced to a depth of <br /> approximately 45 feet bsg Hollow stem augers will be pressure cleaned prior to borehole <br /> advancement The well will be completed utilizing 6-inch diameter, schedule 40 PVC well casing <br /> and will utilize 30 feet of slotted well casing (0 010-inch screen size) All PVC well casing will be <br /> emplaced through the hollow stem augers A#212 Lonestar Lapis Luster sand will be poured down <br /> the annulus between the well casing and the inner wall of the hollow stem auger The filter pack will <br /> be placed adjacent to the screen from the bottom of the boring to a point approximately 2 feet above <br /> the top of the screen Following placement of the filter pack, a surge block will be inserted into the <br /> PVC casing and lowered then raised(surged)repeatedly for approximately 10 minutes Thereafter, <br /> the depth to the top of the filter pack will be measured and bentonite chips (annular seal) placed <br /> above the filter pack and hydrated with clean tap water The remaimng annular space will be sealed <br /> with portland cement A well construction diagram is depicted in Figures 3 <br /> Following completion, the ground water extraction well will be surveyed for grade by a California- <br /> licensed surveyor <br /> Advanced GeoEmlronmenlal,Inc <br />
