Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2006 <br /> SIERRA LUMBER MANUFACTURERS (Case #2) <br /> 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Bob Long of Sierra Lumber, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br /> prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 375 West Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, <br /> California The scope of work included installation and development of three additional ground <br /> water monitoring wells, performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event in March 2006, <br /> and preparation of this report The site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, <br /> soil borings, and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> IThis report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for the subsurface investigation of <br /> I underground storage tank (UST) sites Background information, including details of previous site <br /> assessment work, is presented in Appendix A <br /> i2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> r. Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells Monitoring well <br /> installation procedures were outlined in the AGE-prepared Additional Monitoring Well Installation <br /> Work Plan,dated 15 November 2005 and approved by the EHD in a letter dated 07 December 2005, <br /> ground water monitoring and sampling procedures were outlined in the AGE-prepared Preliminary <br /> Site Investigation Work Plan, dated 27 December 2004 and approved by the EHD in a letter dated <br /> 23 February 2005 <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />' On 30 and 31 January 2006, three ground water monitoring wells (MW-12, MW-13, and MW-14) <br /> were installed at the site The wells were developed on 03 February 2006 and sampled on 22 March , <br />' 2006 <br /> 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br /> On 30 and 31 January 2006,a CME-75HT truck-mounted drill rig was utilized to advance pilot soil <br /> boring MW 12 to a total depth of 40 feet below surface grade (bsg)and borings MW 13 and MW 14 <br /> to a total depth of 65 feet bsg using S 25-inch diameter hollow stem augers The drill rig and three- <br /> man crew were supplied by Cascade Drilling, Inc of Rancho Cordova, California Auger returns <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
