The depth to groundwater is about ten feet and
the direction of flow is towards Sugar Cut Well B is therefore a
shallow, downgradient monitoring well Well B is 125 feet from the
release which is outside the zone of soil contamination which could
result from Bunker C oil . The last two results are summarized in the
following table For some constituents, there were two separate tests
run on the same sample Only those constituents which were detected
are listed in the table.
Constituent, mg/1 9-24-98 12-11-98 11-12-99 7-30-99 3-9-99 1-31-00
Benzene 0 8/0 65 1 3/0 096 0 99 1 44 1 0/1 3 ND
Toluene 0 041/0 022 0 067 0 04 0 05 0 024/0 038 ND
Xylene 0 097/0 055 0 21/0 11 0 18 0 098 0 034/0 09 ND
Ethylbenzene 0 12/0 09 0 3/0 2 0 24 0 158 0 06/0 038 ND
MTBE 0 062 0 1/0 059 ND ND
isopzopylbenzene 0 008
n-propylbenzene 0 008 0 007
1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene 0 005 0 02 0 009
Chloroform 0 02 ND
TPH(9) 2 1 3 6 3 6 0 2 2 9 ND
