r it
' !I
Following liquid level measure ment;`'each of the wells will be purged and sampled. The wells will
f J! it
be purged with a pump and dedicated disposable tubing until at least three well casing volumes
have been extracted and/or after groundwati r temperature, pH and electrical conductivity values
have stabilized. Groundwater will be.sampled from the wells using dedicated and disposable
itIWl ;p
bailers and laboratory-supplied containers. Each sample will be labeled, packaged in an iced
cooler and transported with chain-of-custody documentation to a state of California-certified
hazardous waste testing laboratory for analysis. All groundwater samples will be analyzed on
standard turn-around for TPH-as-gasoline, BTEX, MTBE, DIPS, ETBE, TAME, TBA, 1,2-DCA
and EDB by EPA Method 8260B.
j
dq 11i fi
The results of the initial groundwater;;monitoting, sampling and analysis will be documented in
the well installation project report. Equipment rinsate and purged groundwater will be contained in
55-gallon drums for temporary on-site storage , pending proper disposition.
2.4 Environmental Site Investigation Report
A project report documenting all of the;proposed work activities will be prepared and stamped by
a state of California Registered Geologist and submitted to PHS/EHD and RWQCB. In addition
to a standard discussion of methodp,j the re0ort will include the following:
• Site location map and site plan;
to i .. .
