The groundwater samples were contained in laboratory-supplied containers, labeled, and
' transported in an iced cooler with chain-of-custody documentation to Kiff Analytical, LLC (Kiff), a
state of California certified analytical laboratory (#2236)
Kiff analyzed the groundwater samples for TPH-as-gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
xylenes (BTEX), MTBE, di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl ether(ETBE), tert-amyl methyl
ether(TAME), tert-butanol (TBA) and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 8260B The laboratory reports
and chain-of-custody document are included as Appendix A
Analytical results of the groundwater samples indicate that dissolved concentrations of gasoline
hydrocarbons continue to exist in groundwater beneath the site TPH-as-gasoline and the BTEX
compounds were not detected in any of the groundwater samples MTBE was detected five of
the eight monitoring wells sampled, at a maximum concentration of 450 µg11 at MW-7
Groundwater from Irrigation Well#2 did not contain detectable concentrations of any of the
gasoline compounds analyzed The cumulative analytical results are summarized in Table 2
1
• 6
