Kiff analyzed the groundwater samples for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH)-as-gasoline,
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), MTBE, di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl-t-butyl
ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether(TAME), tert-butanol (TBA) and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method
8260B
Analytical results of the groundwater samples indicate that dissolved concentrations P e trations of gasoline
hydrocarbons continue to exist in groundwater beneath the site MTBE was detected at 290 µg11
in MW-5, at 100 µg11 in MW-7, at 71 µg11 in VW-2, at 61 µg/l in MW-3, and at 2 6 µg11 in MW-6
As shown on the isoconcentration map for MTBE in groundwater(Figure 4), the lateral extent of
MTBE is not defined Neither TPH-as-gasoline nor benzene was detected in any of the
groundwater samples collected during the quarter The cumulative analytical results are
summarized in Table 2 The laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents are included as
Appendix A
i6
