I3.0 CONCLUSIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS AND PROJECT STATUS <br /> • <br /> As measured this quarter, the groundwater flow direction and gradient remain consistent with <br /> historical trends <br /> Since the monitoring well networks was last sampled in February 2001, the concentrations of MTBE <br /> and 1,2-DCA in the downgradient wells (MW-5, MW-6 and MW-7) have increased TPH-as- <br /> Igasoline was also detected for the first time in MW-5 and MW-6 <br /> I <br /> ' Groundwater from Irrigation Well #2 did not contain detectable concentrations of any of the <br /> gasoline constituent compounds analyzed <br /> i <br /> On June 20, 2001, Ramage Environmental published Work Plan, Additional Site Investigation to <br /> further define the extent of impacted groundwater Currently, the work plan is pending regulatory <br /> review and approval <br /> Based on these conclusions, Ramage Environmental recommends the following course of <br /> ' environmental corrective action <br /> '• 1 Gain regulatory approval of the proposed scope of work, and secure cost pre-approval from the <br /> UST Cleanup Fund for the work plan implementation Upon cost pre-approval, schedule and <br /> implement the scope of work <br /> 2 Continue to monitor and sample groundwater from all nine monitoring wells and Irrigation Well <br /> #2 on a quarterly basis The next quarterly groundwater monitoring is scheduled for August <br /> 2001 <br /> I <br /> r <br /> 7 <br />
