1 <br /> r Groundwater samples were collected from the two wells using a disposable Teflon@ sampling <br /> bailer, packed in an iced cooler and transported for analysis under chain-of-custody <br /> documentation to NEI/GTEL Environmental Laboratories, Inc , a state of California certified <br /> analytical laboratory (#2147) The laboratory analyzed both groundwater samples for Total <br /> ' Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH)-as-gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) <br /> and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) by modified EPA Method 8015/8020 The laboratory <br /> ' reports and chain-of-custody documents are included as Appendix B <br /> Analytical results of the groundwater samples indicate that dissolved concentrations of gasoline <br /> hydrocarbons continue to exist in groundwater beneath the site Groundwater sampled from <br /> VW-2 contained 2,400 parts per billion (ppb) of TPH-as-gasoline, 110 ppb of benzene and 1,800 <br /> ' ppb of MTBE Groundwater sampled from VW-1 contained 210 ppb of TPH-as-gasoline, 1 4 <br /> ppb of benzene and 90 ppb of MTBE The current and historical analytical results are <br /> summarized in Table 2 <br /> 1 <br /> 3 <br />
