' SUMMARY REPORT - ASSESSMENT <br /> ' OF <br /> PETROLEUM HYDROCARBON CONTAMINATION <br /> ' OF THE GROUNDWATER <br /> at <br /> San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery <br /> ' Harding Way and Cemetery Lane <br /> Stockton, California <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This report has been prepared by RESNA Industries (RESNA) for Mr Al Vigil of San Joaquin <br /> ' Catholic Cemetery and describes the methods utilized to further define the extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon impact of the shallow groundwater at the site <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> ' San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery is located in Stockton, California, on Cemetery Lane between <br /> Harding Way and Alpine Street (Figure 1) It is bounded on the north by San Joaquin Cemetery <br /> ' and on the west by St Joseph's Medical Center <br /> ' SITE BACKGROUND/PREVIOUS WORK <br /> In November, 1989, two underground gasoline storage tanks were removed from the Cemetery <br /> ' grounds The tanks were used to tuel on-site maintenance vehicles and contained unleaded <br /> gasoline Both tanks had also contained leaded gasoline in the past Tank No 1 was a 500- <br /> gallon tank and was approximately 15 years old when removed Tank No 2 was a 1,000-gallon <br /> tank and was approximately 30 years old when removed Each tank had its own pump and <br /> R-052992 LF 1 <br />
