Q
ASSOC 1 A T E S I N C .
1
was calculated to be 0.001 ft/ft or approximately 5 ft/mile. A summary of groundwater
monitoring data is presented in Table 2.
' 4.4 RESULTS
' 441 Soil Analytical Results
The soil sample collected from boring MW2 at a depth of 35.5 feet bgs contained the highest
concentrations of TPHg, ethyl benzene and xylenes. The soil samples collected from boring MW2
at depths of 30 feet bgs and 55 feet bgs contained only trace concentrations of TPHg, ethyl
benzene and/or xylenes.
The soil samples collected from borings MW1 and MW3 at depths of 35 feet bgs contained a
' trace concentration of xylenes and TPHg, respectively. The samples collected from borings MW 1
and MW3 at depths of 40 feet bgs did not contain detectable concentrations of TPHg or BTEX.
' MTBE, TAME, TBA, ETBE, DIPE, 1,2-DCA, or EDB were not detected in any soil samples
collected from borings MW 1, MW2, and MW3, though the detection limits were elevated in the
MW2 sample from 35.5 feet bgs due to the high concentrations of TPHg noted previously.
1 Total lead was detected in the sample cam osited from borings MW1, MW2, and NM at a
p p g
concentration that is considered to be a background level.
' Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in Table 1. Laboratory data sheets and chain-of-
custody documentation are presented in Appendix B.
' 4.2 Groundwater Analytical Results
The groundwater samples collected from wells MW 1, MW2, and MW3 contained detectable
concentrations of TPHg and BTEX. The groundwater sample collected from well MW2
' contained the highest concentrations but only benzene exceeded its respective maximum
contaminant level (MCL).
The groundwater samples collected from wells MW 1, MW2, and MW3 also contained detectable
concentrations of MTBE and 1,2-DCA. Additionally, the sample collected from MW2 contained
a detectable concentration of TBA. None of the groundwater samples collected contained
detectable concentrations of TAME, ETBE, DIPE, or EDB.
Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 3. Laboratory data sheets and .
chain-of-custody documentation for groundwater samples are contained in Appendix D.
,1
w:192054.0001rreporlslsumii.doc 5
l
