SUMMARY
• i
The distribution of petroleum constituents in soil beneath the site has been essentially defined and
appears to be limited laterally to the immediate vicinity of the former tank pit. The highest
concentrations are present between 10 and 20 feet bgs. Petroleum affected soil at this site
generally attenuates rapidly with depth and is expected to degrade to nondetectable levels over
time.
Based on the available data, residual petroleum hydrocarbons at the project site would not be
expected to adversely affect groundwater. Groundwater is estimated to be present at a depth of
approximately 55 feet bgs and the site is paved.
Smith Technology recommends no further action at this site. This site should be evaluated by
PHS/EHD personnel for closure.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding this workplan, please
contact us at (209) 579-2221.
I
Respectfully Submitted,
Smith Technology Corporation
Tom Lutterman, R.E.A.
Project Geologist QQgFESSIQN!
JEANNE y
HONISEY
Jeanne Homsey, P.E.
