Personnel performing grading activities may be handling equipment that contacts soil t It is not anticipated that they will be exposed to any liquid residue, since none was found In the contaminated soil in the work area Additionally, It is not anticipated that workers will be exposed to any other significant VOCs, however, monitoring for the VOC's found as very minor constituents In the subsurface, will be performed These workers also may be exposed to airborne dust that may contain some hazardous 1 materials To protect these workers from skin contact and breathing vapors and dust, they may be required to use Level C protection as described in the Personal Protective Equipment section of this plan Work will be initiated in Level D after screening ambient background concentrations with a dust meter and Photoionization detector (PED).
