• Ms Margaret Lagroio August 11,2004 <br /> Subsurface Assessment Report Project No 2033-15600-01 <br /> Joe's Truck Plaza, 15600 South Harlan Road,Lathrop,CA <br /> Page 6 <br /> was placed on the top of the well casing Well construction details and the DWR well <br /> completion report are included in Appendix C <br /> Well Box Replacement and Repair <br /> The well box for MW-6 was replaced on May 28, 2004 The gaskets in each of the <br /> existing well boxes (MW-1 through MW-6, MWO-1X, and MWO-1 through MWO-3) <br /> have also been replaced <br /> Well Development and Sampling <br /> Gregg developed well MW-7 on May 25, 2004, using a surge block, bailer, and pump <br /> Approximately 110 gallons of water was purged from the well The well was not sampled <br /> immediately after development, but groundwater samples were collected during subsequent <br /> feasibility testing Field data sheets from the well development event are presented in <br /> Appendix D The newly installed groundwater monitoring well will be incorporated into <br /> the site quarterly monitoring program <br /> Waste Management <br /> Drill cuttings and wastewater were placed in properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon <br /> steel drums, and stored on-site pending disposal On June 11, 2004, Integrated Wastestream <br /> Management (IWM) transported 2 drums of wastewater to Seaport Refining Environmental <br /> in Redwood City, California, and 2 drums of soil to the Republic Landfill in Livermore, <br /> California <br /> Surveying <br /> Morrow Surveying of West Sacramento, California (licensed land surveyor #5161) <br /> surveyed the locations of borings CPT-1 through CPT-8, and the location and elevation of <br /> well MW-7 on May 26, 2004 Well elevations were established to the nearest 0 01 vertical <br /> feet relative to San Joaquin County benchmark UV-34 Latitudes and longitudes of all <br /> wells were established using the Global Positioning System (GPS) Latitudes and <br /> longitudes of the wells and well elevations are included on the surveyor's map presented in <br /> Appendix E Well survey data was forwarded to the California State Water Resources <br /> Control Board for inclusion in the Geotracker database <br /> ANALYTICAL METHODS <br /> Soil and groundwater samples were forwarded to Alpha Analytical, Inc , a California state- <br /> certified laboratory (FLAP #2019), for chemical analysis under strict chain-of-custody <br /> procedures Soil and groundwater samples from borings CPT-1 through CPT-8 and the soil <br /> P Voe's Truck P1aza\Reports\CPT report 08-2004 doc <br />
