U
j soil spread six weeks after the treatment is started. The sample
will be taken per the direction of a County Public Health Services
Sanitarian. If the soil test indicates that the bio-remediation
El land farming technique will be successful, a subsequent test will
be taken as shown on the correction schedule of this report.
C Testing will continue until October 15, 1990 or until such time as
i
the diesel level in the contaminated soil reaches a non-concern
level. If at any time during the testing process the soil diesel
contamination is demonstrated to be at levels of non concern, the
County will seek approval to dispose of it in the landfill. It
would probably be used as, daily cover material for refuse.
FAILURE OF REMEDIATION PLAN
If the testing suggests failure of the technique, the fertilization
rate will be adjusted and. further testing will be done per the plan
I
schedule. If the soil contamination can not been remediated to
the satisfaction of the County Public Health Services Department
Lby October 15, 1990, the County Public Works Department will arrange
for the contaminated soils to be removed and be disposed of at a
properly permitted site.
E
E
it 4
L.'
