ADDENDUM TO
FINAL REMEDIAL PLAN
HARNEY LANE SANITARY LANDFILL
UNDERGROUND FUEL .TANR REMOVAL
This Addendum is in response to concerns expressed by Mr. Harlan
Knoll of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services'
Environmental Health Division.
The Final Remedial Plan stated that the soil would be used for road
maintenance at the Harney Lane Landfill. This Addendum further
states that the soil will be used to maintain the north-south
oriented road between the Primary and Secondary Sites of the
landfill (See attached map) . In addition, after the soil isir +l
placed, the road will be sealed with an all-weather surface. This
' road will be used for maintenance purposes throughout the
closure/post-closure period.
The Final Remedial Plan recommended that the Environmental Health
Division allow the Public Works Department to use the soil for road
maintenance. Based on the final analyses performed on the
contaminated soil, which showed non-detectable levels for all
tested contaminants, this Addendum further recommends that the
Environmental Health Division close the underground storage tank
site located at 14750 E. Harney Lane.
i
i
i
}
a
1
I
i
