On July 14, 2003, EHD
approved the work plan.
On May 20,2005, Ramage Environmental published Well Installation and Groundwater
Monitoring Report, which documented the installation of one additional groundwater monitoring
well (MW-7)and two remedial feasibility test wells (SVE-IA/B/C and AS-1/SVE-2B).
On April 9, 2009, EHD issued a letter documenting a case file review, and directed that the
remedial feasibility testing be completed by August 1, 2009. Remedial feasibility testing and the
investigation of the vertical extent of impacted soil and groundwater remain pending due to
funding limitations within the county Facilities Management Department budget.
On July 24, 2009, EHD directed that quarterly groundwater monitoring be reduced to semi-
annual sampling, according to State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Resolution No.
2009-0042.
On July 28, 2009, Ramage Environmental notified EHD by e-mail that the remedial feasibility
testing would not be completed by the deadline, due to continued funding limitations.
