To install 3 monitoring wells to define the lateral extent of ground water contamination. To collect soil <br /> samples and ground water samples for analyses of gasoline fuel constituents including fuel oxygenates <br /> and 1,2-DCA. <br /> 2. To install one nested vapor extraction well and one nested air sparge/vapor extraction well. <br /> 3. To collect soil samples from the vapor and air sparge wells for analyses. <br /> 4. To conduct an 8 hour vapor extraction pilot test and a four hour air sparge pilot test. The pilot test will <br /> be conducted using the proposed wells and existing wells. <br /> 5. Prior to remedial testing,a ground water baseline will be established using samples collected from <br /> MW 1,MW2 and from the proposed deep extraction well. <br /> 6. A corrective action report will be completed and submitted which will include the results from the <br /> additional investigation and remedial feasibility testing. <br /> 7. To continue with quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling. To continue with Quarterly <br /> Reporting to EHD and CVRWQCB. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. The vertical extent of soil and ground water contamination need to be defined. <br /> The"Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground <br /> Tank Sites"along with its"Appendix A"and"Appendix B"should be used as guidance documents.
