Blaine Tech
Services, Inc.'s work at the site includes inspection, gauging, evacuation, purgewater
containment, sample collection and sample handling in accordance with standard procedures that
conform to Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements. This report contains data from
two seperate events. A tracking oversight led us to believe that the samples from the initial event
on 12/23/98 were not transported to the laboratory for analysis. For that reason , we returned and
resampled the sight on 12/31/98. As it turns out. The laboratory received samples .from both our
initial and second sampling events. Analytical results and field data sheets from both events are
included in this report-
Routine Geld data collection includes depth to water, total well depth, thickness of any separate
immiscible layer, water column volume, the appropriate calculated purge volume, elapsed
evacuation time, total volume of water removed, and standard water parameter instrument
readings. Sample material is collected, contained, stored, and transported to the laboratory in
conformance with EPA standards. Purgewater is, likewise, collected and transported to Seaport
Petroleum Corporation for disposal.
Blaine Tech Services, lnc. Report No. 981223-Y-1 4th-Q 1998 Monitoring at BP 11195
