• From February 1996 to September 1998,MTBE concentrations have generally increased in <br /> rr-'r groundwater samples,while total BTEX have genera.Ily remained below reported <br /> detection limits, except in MW-3 where total BTEX concentrations have remained below <br /> 500 ug/1. <br /> • As can be noted in Table 1,MTBE was first detected in the samples collected from onsite <br /> Wells MW-4 and MW-5 in October 1997 at concentrations of 60,000 and 93,000 ug/1. <br /> 9.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the finding and conclusions of this investigation, Alisto recommends additional <br /> investigation of onsite underground utilities to assess their effect on the transport of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and MTBE in the subsurface. <br /> 12 <br />
