In addition depth to first ground water is four
to four and a half feet. The bottom of leach line trenches must be at least five
feet above ground water.
You have the following alternatives :
1. Run additional percolation tests on the same parcels in a more
suitable area that would meet county requirements . The area
chosen would also have to meet the five foot leach line trench
to ground water requirements .
2. Provide an engineer designed alternative sewage disposal system
meeting Health District requirements .
3. Re-locate the parcels to another area and run percolations and
soil profile tests that meet minimum requirements.
Approval of the final map will be withheld until suitable test results can be obtained
or an alternative design is submitted and approved by this District.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, contact Fred Kaufman, Supervising
Sanitarian, of my staff at (209) 466-6781 , extension 35.
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
District Health Officer
l Ron L.
