Brand Blvd <br /> Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Glendale, CA 91203 <br /> Subject: Vapor Well Decommissioning Site Code: PR#9051 <br /> Nestle's USA(former) <br /> 230 Industrial Avenue <br /> Ripon, CA <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed <br /> Decommissioning of Vapor Extraction Wells dated January 24, 2011 that detailed the <br /> methods, materials and procedures used to locate and properly destroy eleven vapor <br /> wells (VE-1 through VE-3 and VE-5 through VE-12) previously installed at this site. One <br /> vapor well, VW-4, was unable to be located after multiple attempts and the EHD accepts <br /> your request to deem this well as lost and properly addressed, requiring no further <br /> action. <br /> The eleven wells were all properly and adequately destroyed under permit and <br /> inspection by EHD staff. The EHD considers the matter of decommissioning the vapor <br /> wells at this site as successfully completed. <br /> Thank you for your cooperation.
