FACILITY, <br /> RIPON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (Regional Water <br /> Board) staff has reviewed the Final Groundwater Model Report, Former Nestle USA Inc., <br /> Facility (final Report), dated 12 June 2007, and received 19 June 2007. The final Report <br /> was prepared by Environmental Cost Management, Inc., (ECM), on behalf of Nestl6 USA, <br /> Inc. (Nestl6) for their former coffee decaffeination facility located at 230 Industrial Avenue, <br /> Ripon, California. <br /> Nestl6 prepared the final Report to comply with Required Action No. 12 of Cleanup and <br /> Abatement Order No. R5-2006-0720, issued by the Regional Water Board on 24 July 2006. <br /> Required Action No. 12 directs Nestl6 to submit the final Report within 60 days of receiving <br /> Regional Water Board staff comments on the draft Report. Nestl6 submitted the final report <br /> within the required time. <br /> Regional Water Board staff concludes that Nestl6 has adequately incorporated staff <br /> comments on the draft Report into the final Report. However, as with all models of <br /> subsurface materials and fluids, as more data are collected the need for revision of the <br /> model will arise.
