1 Water Quality Assessment • -2- • 28 November 1994
Nestles Beverage Company,Ripon
III. Table 6.3 - Calculated Concentration in Soil and Vapor Based on Measured Ground Water
Quality Goals
The last column labeled Cv(c) the units are in ppm. This is not clear whether this is mg/l or
ppmv (parts per million per volume). Based on the calculations in this report, we assumed that it
was ppmv. If this is the case it should be changed to ppmv on the table. If this assumption is not
correct, we have concerns with these cleanup concentrations.
As stated above we concur with the soils cleanup goals but, further lateral and vertical extent of vadose
zone contamination is required. We believe a meeting is necessary to discuss interim remedial actions,
lateral and vertical extent definition in vadose zone and ground water, etc. Should you have any
questio s, contactl'eat (`916) 255-3059.
Victor J.
