Facility <br /> 230 Industrial Avenue <br /> Ripon, CA 95366 <br /> Dear Mr. Brownell: <br /> On behalf of Nestle USA, Inc. (Nestle), Environmental Cost Management, Inc. (ECM) <br /> prepared this Second Quarter 2012 Site Status Report for the former Nestle facility <br /> located at 230 Industrial Avenue (Site) in Ripon, California (Figure 1). This report <br /> presents the results of groundwater monitoring performed throughout the Study Area <br /> (Figure 2) from April through June 2012. The field work completed during the Second <br /> Quarter 2012 complied with Monitoring and Reporting Program R5-2010-0810 and is <br /> summarized below. <br /> • On April 9, 2012: <br /> o ECM measured water levels in 123 wells. <br /> o Stantec, Inc. measured water levels for nine City of Ripon piezometers, 11 <br /> City of Ripon municipal wells, and three City of Ripon monitoring wells. <br /> o Lawrence & Associates measured water levels for 11 Diamond Pet Food <br /> wells. <br /> • Between April 10 and June 30, 2012, ECM collected samples from: <br /> • One hundred eleven (111) Nestle monitoring wells (55 Upper Aquifer wells, <br /> 37 Intermediate Aquifer Wells, and 19 Lower Aquifer Wells) using Passive <br /> Diffusion Bags, <br /> • Six Nestle extraction wells (EI-1, EW-1, E-2, E-6, EU-3, and EU-4), <br /> • Ten City of Ripon production wells (MW-3, MW-5, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10, <br /> MW-11, MW-13, MW-14, MW-16, and MW-18), <br /> • Six Diamond Pet Food wells (PW-6, TH-1, TH-7, TH-8, TH-9, and TH-10), <br /> • One private production well (CALTRANS), <br /> 1 <br />
