Facility 230 Industrial Avenue Ripon, CA 95366 Dear Mr. Pierce: On behalf of Nestle USA, Inc. (Nestle), Environmental Cost Management, Inc. (ECM) has prepared the Second Quarter 2014 Site Status Report for the former Nestle facility located at 230 Industrial Avenue (Site) in Ripon, California (Figure 1). This report presents the results of groundwater monitoring performed within the Study Area (Figure 1) from April through June 2014. The field work completed during Second Quarter 2014 complied with Monitoring and Reporting Program MRP R5-2010-0810 and Monitoring and Reporting Program R5-2014-0815 and is summarized below. • On April 7, 2014: o ECM measured water levels at 132 wells including six Diamond Pet Food Processor of Ripon LLC (Diamond) wells. o Stantec, Inc. measured water levels at nine City of Ripon piezometers, 11 City of Ripon municipal wells, and three City of Ripon monitoring wells. • Between April 2 and June 30, 2014, ECM collected samples from: • One hundred-five (105) Nestle monitoring wells (48 Upper Aquifer wells, 38 Intermediate Aquifer Wells, and 19 Lower Aquifer Wells) using Passive Diffusion Bags, • Three active Nestle extraction wells (EI-1, EU-3, and EU-4), • Ten City of Ripon production wells (MW-3, MW-5, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10, MW-11, MW-13, MW-14, MW-16, and MW-18), • Seven Diamond wells (PW-8, TH-1, TH-7, TH-8, TH-9, TH-10, and TH- 11), • Four private irrigation wells (CALTRANS, 7507 Kiernan Ave-Irr, RPS-1, and RC-2), 1
