Facility <br /> 230 Industrial Avenue <br /> Ripon, CA 95366 <br /> Dear Mr. Pierce: <br /> On behalf of Nestle USA, Inc. (Nestle), ECM Consultants (ECM) has prepared the Third <br /> Quarter 2018 Site Status Report for the former Nestle facility located at 230 Industrial <br /> Avenue (Site) in Ripon, California (Figure 1). This report presents the results of <br /> groundwater monitoring from July through September 2018. The field work completed <br /> during Third Quarter 2018 complied with Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) R5- <br /> 2014-0815 (revised February 2017) and is summarized below. <br /> • On July 9, 2018: <br /> o ECM measured water levels at 143 wells including six Diamond Pet Food <br /> Processor of Ripon LLC (Diamond) wells and nine City of Ripon <br /> piezometers. <br /> o The City of Ripon measured water levels at 11 City of Ripon municipal wells, <br /> and three City of Ripon monitoring wells. <br /> • Between July 2 and September 18, 2018, ECM collected samples for analysis of <br /> volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from: <br /> o Ninety-one (19) Nestle monitoring wells (10 Upper Aquifer wells, eight <br /> Intermediate Aquifer Wells, and one Lower Aquifer Well) using Passive <br /> Diffusion Bags (PDBs), <br /> o Two Nestle extraction wells (EU-5 and EU-6), <br /> o Five City of Ripon operating production wells (MW-3, MW-5, MW-7, MW- <br /> 10, and MW-11), <br /> o One school irrigation wells (RPS-1), <br /> o One school drinking water well (RC-1), <br /> o Four domestic wells (361 Parallel Avenue, 5724 Hall Road, 7971 Kiernan <br /> Avenue, and 1051 Robert Avenue), and <br /> 1 <br />
