There were no detections in the reported analytical
results for gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene or xylene from treatment cell soil samples. There
were no detections above 1000 ppm for diesel or motor oil from treatment cell soil samples. PHS/EHD
concludes that this level of contamination is suitable for on site disposal of treated soil based on
conditions at this site.
PHS/EHD has concluded that no further investigation or remediation is required at this time.
Destruction of the monitoring wells and submittal of a closure report is required to complete closure of
this site. The closure report shall consist of a tabulation of all data from the investigation and
remediation of the site, a history of the site, and a rationale for closure. Once the destruction of the
monitoring wells has been completed and a closure report has been approved, PHS/EHD will issue the
final closure letter and the site will be removed from the contaminated site list.
The three monitoring wells at the site must be destroyed by a C-57 licensed driller under permit and
inspection of PHS/EHD. Please submit a permit application with a $60 permit application fee and
schedule the destruction inspection 48 hours in advance.
For additional information please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Enviro mental Health Division
Steven Sasso , Senior REHS Margare ,erie, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Lead Senior
SS
cc: James Brathovde, CVRWQCB
Annabelle Mackey, SWRCB
Bill Fox, WHF, Inc.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
