Also, confirmation sampling is <br /> required for soil in the backfilled former tank area. PHS-EHD is concerned with the "charcoal black <br /> god' mentioned in the tank closure inspection report. PHS-EHD recommends further investigation of <br /> this material which can be done at the time of confirmation sampling. Please contact Mike Infurna for <br /> further information. <br /> General Services/Stockton Metropolitan Airport <br /> 5000 South Airport Stockton-Mary Meays <br /> PHS/EHD staff, Mary Meays and Ron Rowe have been assigned this site. Staff stated that the results <br /> from the tank removal would be evaluated and former tank site not requiring further work would be <br /> issued closure letters and contaminated sites would be placed in the Local Oversight Program. <br /> PHS/EHD staff indicated that a meeting would be scheduled to discuss the results of file review and to <br /> obtain assistance from Airport Management to determine the additional responsible parties, besides <br /> San Joaquin County. A meeting was scheduled with Dan DeAngelis on March 20, 1995 to discuss <br /> former tank locations. All contaminated sites will be placed into LOP by March 24, 1995, Work Plans <br /> to initiate the investigations should be submitted by June 9, 1995. <br /> Agricultural Commissioner's Office <br /> 503 East 10th Street. Tracy and 392 South Moffat Manteca - Mary Meays <br /> PHS/EHD staff, Mary Meays, has been assigned these site and indicated that due to the significant <br /> concentrations of contamination which was detected at the time of the tank removals and the depth to <br /> groundwater, the sites would be placed into LOP .
