HUNTER STREET - FORMER DOWNTOWN MOTOR POOL <br /> Remove two (2) single-wall steel underground storage tanks ; 1 - 1 , 000 gallon and <br /> 1 -8 , 000 gallon formerly storing gasoline , and their related piping and/or <br /> dispensers . <br /> Due to locations of tanks within City of Stockton sidewalk and close proximity to <br /> the County's building, no overexcavation will be performed . Samples from <br /> beneath the tank's inverts will be collected for evaluation by the PHS- EHD Site <br /> Mitigation Unit personnel . Because previous investigative findings have <br /> documented contamination at 18 - 20 feet bgs , sample analyses may be held at <br /> the laboratory pending disposition . <br /> Number, location , and analytical methods are as follows: <br /> Two (2) soil samples shall be collected from each tank end at the bottom <br /> of the tank' s contact with native soil . Samples from the pipeline trench will <br /> not be collected at the time of their removal . <br /> Soil Analysis : <br /> BTX & E EPA METHOD 8020 (5030) <br /> Detection Limits 005 ppm ( ug/kg) <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons , Gasoline GC-FID EPA METHOD <br /> 8015 (5030) <br /> Detection Limits 10. 0 ppm ( ug/kg) <br /> 222 E . WEBER AVENUE - COURTHOUSE <br /> Remove one ( 1 ) 10 , 000 gallon single-wall steel underground storage tank and its <br /> related piping in the basement parking lot. <br /> Two (2) soil samples shall be collected from each tank end at the bottom of the <br /> tank's contact with native soil . The pipeline trench shall be completely exposed <br /> for inspection prior to removing the piping . Pipeline samples shall be collected <br /> based upon length of actual pipeline, but at a minimum one ( 1 ) soil sample every <br /> 20 feet. <br /> No overexcavation will be permitted during the tank removal due to the need to <br /> restore the area for parking purposes as well as the close proximity to <br />
