Due to the budget restraints , an
accelerated approach to each site location would minimize the need to prepare
repetitive workplan documents . Preliminary information exists for each site either
through the tank removal activity and/or limited site assessment.
Additionally, the estimated costs for each site should be based upon price-per- unit
costing . We have enclosed an example distributed through the State Water
Resources Control Board , Cleanup Fund Division ; however, your unit cost breakdown
should parallel the specific scope of work which may be more detailed than the
example.
The following tank compliance issues remain unresolved in the draft Master
Compliance Plan .
Active tanks sites require proof of financial responsibility for each tank location .
Those tanks listed within the draft Master Compliance Plan as "not in use" or 'but of
service" are in violation and are improperly abandoned as per California Health and
Safety Code Section 25298 . Closure plans are to be submitted and the tanks
removed or the tanks shall be precision tested and reactivated for usage .
Additionally , the following tanks are subject to active tank fees :
222 E. Weber Avenue
130 N . Hunter Street
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
