A minimum <br /> of one soil sample will be submitted for laboratory analysis per borehole. In addition to <br /> analyzing the soil for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g); <br /> benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) ; and methyl tertiary-butyl <br /> ether (MTBE), the EHD directs that the proposed analytical regime include 1 ,2- <br /> dichloroethane (1 ,2-DCA). <br /> The EHD directs analysis of groundwater samples collected quarterly for TPH-g, BTEX, <br /> MTBE, and 1 ,2-DCA; and all groundwater samples should be analyzed annually for ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary amyl-methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butyl alcohol <br /> (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (RIPE), 1 ,2-dibromoethane (EDB), and TPH quantified as <br /> kerosene (TPH-k). <br /> Please respond by June 27, 2008, to the recommendation by the EHD to install one deep <br /> well; and contact Vicki McCartney, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, <br /> at (209) 468-9852 or by email at vmccartnev Dasicehd.coin if you have any questions. <br /> Sincerely,, <br /> ����i�----- <br /> Victoria L.
