Waste equipment rinse water and purged groundwater generated during the drilling and sampling <br /> activities was contained in two, separate 55-gallon drums and stored on-site, pending proper <br /> disposal On August 13, 2002, Ramos Environmental Services removed 105 gallons of <br /> ' wastewater from the drums using a vacuum truck, and transported the water as non-RCRA <br /> hazardous waste liquid (oily water) to its West Sacramento facility for recycling A copy of the <br /> waste manifest is also included in Appendix C <br /> 23 Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Y <br /> To evaluate if gasoline hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater beneath the site threaten any <br /> nearby sensitive receptors, Ramage Environmental surveyed potential sensitive receptors within <br /> 2,000-feet of the site (site vicinity) The survey included reviewing water well completion reports at <br /> the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), contacting the local water purveyor, and <br /> touring the site vicinity <br /> For the site vicinity, seven water well completion reports were on file at DWR Appendix D <br /> includes a base map showing the locations of the identified wells, a table summarizing any well <br /> construction data, and copies of the available well completion reports <br /> DWR records indicate that a water well (#1) once existed within courthouse square, approximately <br /> 300 feet southeast of the site According to Mr Nick Isaac of the San Joaquin County Facilities <br /> Management Department, courthouse square represents the entire courthouse grounds In the <br /> early 1960s, the former courthouse was expanded and the well was probably destroyed or <br /> abandoned at that time The location of the former well is likely beneath the footprint of the <br /> current courthouse building <br /> DWR records also indicate that a water well (#2) once existed at 202 E Main Street, the site of <br /> the current San Joaquin County Canhs Administration Building, approximately 600 feet south of <br /> the site According to Mr Isaac, this well was probably destroyed or abandoned when the Canlis <br /> Building was constructed in 1982 Mr Isaac was not aware of any water wells operating on <br /> county property within the site vicinity <br /> The following current owners of five other properties with water wells identified in the DWR <br /> records were unaware of the existence of these wells An Vuong (#3), Ernesto Rosa (#4), Jose <br /> Solario (#5), Ignacio Chacon, Maintenance, City of Stockton Police Department (#6), and Chinese <br /> Multi-Cultural Servie Center (#7) All five of these property owners indicated that California Water <br /> Service Company supplied water at their locations <br /> 10 <br />
