I
'
TPH as gasoline (EPA Method 8015M or 8260B),
•
' v TPH as diesel (EPA Method 8015M),
■ VOCs (EPA Method 8260B),
' E SVOCs (EPA Method 8270C),
■ Oil & Grease (Method 1664A),
' 0 PCBs (EPA Method 8082), and
' a California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22 Metals
As shown in Table 2, TPH as diesel was detected in two monitoring wells, MW-2 and
' MW-1, at concentration of 75 µgll and 55 µg11 respectively PCE was detected in all of
the monitoring wells at concentrations ranging from 5 1 µg11 in MW-1 to 150 µg11 in
' MW-4 TCE was detected in all of the monitoring wells at concentrations ranging from
0 98 µg/1 in MW-3 to 6 3 µg11 in MW-4 Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate was detected in
' two of the monitoring wells, MW-1 and MW-2 at concentrations of 50 µg/1 and 46 µg11
respectively Additionally, two other VOCs, cis-l,2-dichloroethene and trans-1,2-
dichloroetehene were detected in MW-1 at concentrations of 29 µg/1 and 05 µg11
' respectively (Figure 6) The metals arsenic, barium, chromium, molybdenum, nickel,
selenium, vanadium, mercury, and zinc were detected in one or more groundwater
' samples at varying concentrations (Figure 7) Copies of the groundwater analytical
reports and chain-of-custody documentation are contained in Appendix E of this report
' 5.4 GROUNDWATER FLOW DIRECTION AND GRADIENT
' Groundwater elevation data is summarized in Table 3 As indicated in the table,
groundwater elevations ranged from 25 73 to 26 22 It should be noted that this is an
' arbitrary elevation datum as calculated groundwater elevations are negative numbers
based on mean sea level datum To avoid the confusion associated with negative
groundwater elevation data, 40 feet was added to the surveyed casing elevations in order
' to generate positive groundwater elevation data Based on groundwater elevation data
generated during this investigation, groundwater flows to the northeast at an approximate
' gradient of 0 0031 A groundwater elevation contour map is presented on Figure 7
' 10 V\Goodwin ProctorTFinalReport doc
