16 October 2009
AGE-NC Project No. 09-1714
A total of 20 soil samples were submitted to CTEL for analysis as noted above. Total petroleum
hydrocarbons quantified as motor oil were reported in soil sample B18-2.5 at a low concentration
of 82 milligrams per kilogram(mg/kg).This concentration is below the San Francisco Bay Regional
Water Quality Control Board's Environmental Screen Level(ESL)for total petroleum hydrocarbons
quantified as motor oil of 83 mg/kg.
No other target analytes were reported in the analyzed soil samples. The analytical results are
summarized in Table l.A copy of the laboratory report(CTEL 0909156)is included in Appendix B.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon the results of this investigation, AGE recommends that no further environmental
investigation is required. If additional environmental concerns are encountered in the future, please
contact our office for further recommendations.
LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from
a limited number of available data points (i.e. soiI samples) and subsurface conditions may vary
away from these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied,is made as to the professional
interpetations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact our office at(209)467-1006.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. o,s+Aoo
No. 7473
Rebecca E.Nat William R.
