Anderson and Associates (NOA) has been retained by Mr. Randall W. Lange, LangeTwins
Wine Estate,to produce a Monitoring Welllnstallation Workplan and GroundwaterSamplingAndAnalyrir Plan
for the property located at 1525 East Jahant Road,Acampo, San Joaquin County, California.
The Langetwins Wine Estate has proposed a facilitate which will crush 40,000 tons of fruit at build-out
capacity. The production at the facility is expected to increase over approximately twenty years. The
construction of the winery is to occur in phases and is expected to be modular in design.
The California Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)is expected to issue LangeTwins Wine
Estate an Order that would require, among other items, that groundwater monitoring wells be installed
around the areas used for land application of winery wastewater, near the wastewater treatment ponds
and in an upgradient position to both of these locations. Further, the wells would be sampled, and the
samples analyzed, in order to detect any potential degradation of groundwater quality that may be
caused by the application of winery wastewater discharge to the land surface. The LangeTwins Wine
Estates wishes to proceed with a Monitoring Well Installation and Monitoring Program in advance of
receipt of an official Order from the RWQCB. The purpose of this document is to detail the methods
and procedures to be used for the installation of monitoring wells, the sampling and analysis of
groundwater, and the analysis of monitoring results.
1
LODI ■ SACRAMENTO ■ MODESTO
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION 902 Industrial Way,Lodi,California 95240 ■209.367.3701 0 209.369.4228 ■www.noanderson.com
