When <br /> installed they are intended for the secondary containment. of petroleum <br /> Products, alcohols, and alcohol-gasoline mixtures. They extend from the top of <br /> the tank to just below the street manway providing access to the tank. These <br /> tank sumps are not provided with fittings. The tank sumps are made in <br /> diameters of 36 in., 42 in. and 48 in. The sump riser reducers are molded. <br /> The interstitial space of the double wall sumps may be monitored by <br /> using positive or negative (vacuum) pressure not exceeding 5 psi, or with <br /> water or brine solution. <br /> " The penetration fittings allow for the penetration of piping for <br /> flammable liquids and electrical conduit through the wall of the sumps. <br /> INSTALLATION: <br /> The sumps and penetration fittings are intended for underground <br /> installation in accordance with Western Fiberglass Inc. 's installation <br /> instructions (ILL. 1) . <br /> MARKING: <br /> The following markings shall be legibly and permanently "applied to the <br /> sumps and penetration fittings. <br /> A. The Manufacturer's name. <br /> B. The manufacturing location. <br /> C. The statement: "Install in accordance with Western Fiberglass <br /> Inc. 's installation instructions" or equivalent. <br /> D.
