(Ground Zero) has prepared this letter report
summarizing the results and conclusions of a soil vapor extraction test (VET) performed at the above
referenced site and to propose a Final Remediation Plan for soil contamination documented at the
property.
The VET was completed to evaluate the feasibility of removing residual gasoline hydrocarbons from
the subsurface near the former gasoline underground storage tank (UST) using soil vapor extraction.
The testing was conducted in accordance with recommendations in our Problem Assessment Report
dated May 14, 2001 and as directed in your letter dated June 20, 2001. The site location is shown on
Figure 1.
VAPOR TEST WELL CONSTRUCTION
One single vapor test well and one dual completion vapor test well were installed at the site on
November 27, 2001. Soil samples were collected at five-foot intervals during drilling to characterize
subsurface stratigraphy and for possible laboratory analysis. Soils encountered beneath the site during
drilling generally consisted of interbedded units of sand, silt and clay, which is consistent with the
previous investigation.
Q:lahVGR01-7lgowaRryu,u5V87[ip'f,Eoc
