(AGE) submitted a Soil Vapor <br /> Investigation Work Plan (Work Plan) on your behalf for the RMB Garage unauthorized <br /> petroleum release at 715 N. Hunter Street in Stockton (Site). Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff concurred with the proposed scope of <br /> work in a 3 March 2017 letter. However, the proposed work has not been completed due to <br /> budget issues. <br /> On 26 March 2019, Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water <br /> Board) staff met with you, Mr. Dennis Erardi, and Mr. Tim Cuellar and Mr. Brian Millman of <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. (AGE) to discuss the path forward for this Site. The following <br /> scope of work was discussed and agreed upon during this meeting: <br /> 1. Installing and sampling the two on-Site and one off-Site soil gas wells as proposed in the <br /> Work Plan. <br /> 2. Collecting soil samples from the on-Site soil gas borings from between 0-5 and between <br /> 5-10 feet below ground surface (bgs) for analysis of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, <br /> xylenes (BTEX), naphthalene, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), for <br /> comparison to Direct Contract and Outdoor Air Exposure criteria established in the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board's (State Water Board's) Low Threat Underground <br /> Storage Tank Case Closure Policy(LTCP). <br /> I <br /> i <br /> 3. Following the meeting, Central Valley Water Board staff located historical soil sampling <br /> data collected during removal of the former underground storage tanks (USTs). Soil <br /> sample T1-W, collected from beneath the western end of the former waste oil tank, and <br /> sample WO1, collected beneath the former waste oil tank fill port, were both analyzed for I <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), TPH as diesel (TPHd), TPH as motor <br /> oil (TPHmo), total oil and grease (TOG), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), j <br /> polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), cadmium, chromium, hexavalent chromium, lead, j <br /> nickel, and zinc. <br /> I <br /> Please analyze soil samples collected from the on-Site soil gas borings for SVOCs. <br /> t <br /> Knne E.loear6r SCD.
