1 <br /> I <br /> Quarterly Monitonng and Sensitive Receptor Survey Report <br /> Canepa's Car Wash (Park Street) <br /> November 5, 2001 <br /> UR, f Page 6 <br /> 6.1 DWR RECORDS WITHIN 2,000 FEET <br /> According to DWR records correlated with Assessor' s Parcel Number (APN) and mapping information, <br /> five well records pertain to wells within the study area <br /> • Condor was unable to identify four of the five wells during site reconnaissance <br /> • One well, drilled in 1912, was abandoned <br /> Fremont and Madison Streets <br /> A well record for a property located at Fremont and Madison Streets (WI in Figure 9, Appendix A) <br /> indicates that an irrigation well was installed in 1951 but does not indicate a numerical address for its <br /> location The well is apparently owned by the State of California but no contact information was <br /> provided The well is located approximately 1 ,900 feet southwest of the site California Water Service <br /> Company (CWSC) provides municipal water service to the study area <br /> 919 North Center Street <br /> A well record for a property located at 919 N Center Street (W2 in Figure 9, Appendix A) indicates that <br /> a domestic well was installed in 1951 According to Rick Clough, Facilities Manager for the Central <br /> State Credit Union that currently owns the property, he has never seen a well on the parcel or on the <br /> maps that they have for the property He has worked for the facility for 13 years The property is located <br /> • approximately 1 ,300 feet northwest of the site The CWSC provides municipal water service to the study <br /> area <br /> Poplar and San Joaquin Streets <br /> A well record for a property located at the south side of Poplar Street and the west side of San Joaquin <br /> Street (W3 in Figure 9, Appendix A) indicates that a municipal well was installed to 1954 but does not <br /> indicate a numerical address for its location The well was owned by the CWSC, which provides <br /> municipal water service to the study area Mr Paul Risso of CWSC indicated that the well was <br /> abandoned approximately 15 years ago and the property it was located on was sold approximately five <br /> years ago The well was located approximately 800 feet north of the site <br /> J <br /> 417 East Weber Avenue <br /> A well record for a property located at 417 E Weber (W4 in Figure 9, Appendix A) indicates that a well <br /> was installed in 1942 The current property owner could not be contacted A large business building was <br /> located on the parcel The property is located approximately 2,000 feet south of the site CWSC provides <br /> municipal water service to the site area <br /> EI Dorado Street <br /> A well record for abandonment of a well on a property located on EI Dorado Street between Miner <br /> Avenue and Channel Street indicates that a well was installed in 1912 by J N Jensen The well was <br /> drilled to a total depth of 3, 178 feet for Western States Gas and Electric The well record is labeled as P <br /> G & E #8 The well was abandoned by R L Norris of Sacramento The property is located <br /> approximately 1 ,700 feet south of the site CWSC provides municipal water service to the study area <br /> ILO CONDOR <br />
