(VYATC
 ASSOCIATES I NC
SELF-MONITORING RESULTS
From the date of its startup, December 20, 2002, through May 21, 2003, the groundwater
treatment system had an average flowrate of 0 73 gallons per minute (gpm) and 1,044 gallons per
day (gpd) and a total discharge of 124,682 gallons During the reporting period for May 2003,
the groundwater treatment system had an average flowrate of 0 39 gpm and 557 gpd and a total
discharge of 17,015 gallons The LEL did not exceed 10% during the May 2003 monitoring
period The treatment system was not operational for a period of approximately ten days due to
mechanical difficulties with the thermal oxidizer unit
Final treated groundwater samples (Effluent) collected on May 21, 2003, contained no detectable
concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons, TPHg, BTEX, MTBE, ETBE, TBA, TAME,
DIPE, 1,2-DCA, or EDB Final treated groundwater samples (Effluent) collected on May 21,
2003 indicate that pH was within the required range Results of the monthly self-monitoring
program are summarized in Table 1 and analytical data is attached
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
. ATC will schedule the calibration of the flow meter in June 2003 Calibration of the flow meter
will be performed by Cooper Controls and Electrical Services
If you require any additional information, please contact our office at(209) 579-2221
Respectfully submitted,
ATC Associates Inc
J.",AL
Drew Van Allen
Senior Project Manager
Jeanne Romsey, P E
CA Registered Civil Engineer No 47410
cc Mr and Mrs Raymond Farmer
Mr Jeff Wong, SCJEHD
i
s 1625961reportslwaterdischarge105_03 doc 2
