1 collected from the system influent, system effluent, and vessel I (1 e , the effluent of vessel 1 which is in <br /> between canisters) of the groundwater treatment system and transported under cham-of-custody <br />' documentation to Argon Labs for analyses The water samples were analyzed for TPHg by EPA Method <br /> 801513, BTEX by EPA Method 8021 B, and MTBE, TAME, ETBE, DIPS, TBA, 1,2-DCA, and EDB by <br /> EPA Method 8260B <br /> Vapor Analytical Results <br />' TPHg was detected in all of the vapor samples collected on July 26, August 26, and September 27, 2004, <br /> except for the effluent samples collected on July 26 and August 26, and the sample collected from VW4 on <br /> July 26, 2004 TPHg concentrations in samples collected from VW1, VW2, VW4, and MW1 ranged from <br /> less than 2 0 parts per million by volume(ppmv)to 130 ppmv The influent concentrations of TPHg ranged <br /> from 8 6 ppmv to 65 ppmv and the effluent concentration of TPHg ranged from less than 1 5 ppmv to 4 0 <br /> ppmv <br />' BTEX constituents were detected in all vapor samples except the effluent samples, the sample collected <br /> from VW2 on August 26,the sample collected from VW4 on July 26, and the samples collected from MW1 <br /> on July 26 and September 27, 2004 Benzene concentrations in samples collected from VW1, VW2, VW4, <br />' and MW 1 ranged from <0 050 to 0 16 ppmv The influent and effluent concentrations of benzene were less <br /> than 0 050 ppmv <br /> The effluent concentrations are within the requirements of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District (SJVAPCD) permit to operate Vapor analytical data are summarized in Table 4 and vapor I <br /> analytical data sheets are contained in Attachment 4 <br />' Water Treatment System Analytical Results <br />' The influent and effluent water samples collected from the treatment and discharge component of the <br /> vapor extraction system contained no detectable concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, MTBE, TAME, ETBE, <br /> DIPS, TBA, 1,2-DCA, or EDB, with the exception of the influent sample collected on September 27, <br />' 2004 Toluene and xylenes were detected in the influent groundwater sample at concentrations of 0 9 <br /> ug/l and 2 1 ug/l, respectively <br />' A summary of analytical results is presented in Table 5 Groundwater laboratory data sheets and chain- <br /> of-custody documentation are contained in Attachment 2 <br />' Air Sparge System Monitoring <br /> During the current reporting period, ATC personnel monitored the air sparge system on July 26, August 26, <br /> and September 27, 2004 Parameters monitored in the field included flow rates and induced pressure <br /> responses at on-site wells if applicable Field monitoring data are contained in Attachment 3 <br /> s\env iro1625961quartlyl3gr-2004 doc 6 ATC Associates Inc <br />
