1 <br /> 6 Collect an influent and an eluent vapor sample after approximately 90 minutes of operation <br />' for laboratory analysis of TPHgBTEX <br /> 7 Vapor extract for a minimum of 4 hours Continue operation as long as possible until held <br /> readings stabilize or a maximum of eight hours <br />' 8 Shut down IC engine and call Modesto <br /> 9 Submit vapor samples to Sequoia Analytical <br /> AIR SPARGE/VAPOR EXTRACTION TEST(day two) <br /> Pre-test Procedures <br />' 1 Measure depth-to-water in sparge well and observation wells (VWl, VW2, MWl, MW2, <br /> MW3,MW4, and MW6) <br />' 2 Do not purge or develop wells Collect groundwater samples from MW 1 and vapor samples <br /> from �Submrt groundwater samples to Sequoia for laboratory analysis of TPHg/BTEX <br /> 3 Install wellhead assemblies onto observation wells Field monitor for VOCs and helium Field <br />' monitor for helium. <br /> 4 At extraction wellhead ' install PVC riser, ell and piping to connect to IC engine <br />' 5 At sparge wellhead MWI, install PVC riser, ell and piping to connect to sparge assembly - <br /> helium and air manifold, air compressor, and helium tank <br />' 6 Install pitot tube, gauges, temperature gauge, etc for monitoring influent vapor extraction <br /> stream <br /> 7 Magnehehc gauges set to zero <br />' 8 Record vacuum or pressure readings at all monitoring points prior to testing <br /> Air Sparge/Vapor Extraction Test <br /> 1 Pressure up sparge well to 6 5 psi for 10 feet of water above top of screen or 8 psi for 15 feet <br />' of water above top of screen with compressor to purge sparge pipe of water prior to initiating <br /> flow Initiate flow <br />
