I <br /> f <br /> • Establish effective traffic and pedestrian control around the subject site. <br /> 7 <br /> Insure that adequate site <br /> • q security is maintained. <br /> Perform work place surveillance for flamm ble/explosive conditions and insure <br /> that there is a portable fire extinguisher loca ed on-site. i <br /> � t I <br /> Observe activities to insure the proper use of personal protective equipment such <br /> as hard hats, protective eyewear, coveralls ( yvek®etc,...), respirators, gloves, I <br /> + and steel-toe boots, etc. <br /> • Inspect safety equipment for use by all field personnel to insure that it has been <br /> f maintained and is in a useable condition. <br /> 'i <br /> • Shut down or modify field work activity basei I on the criteria presented in Section <br /> 11.0. <br /> • Initiate outside emergency phone calls when an emergency or accident requires <br /> medical attention. <br /> • Insure that all field personnel meet or exceed I he minimum requirements for health <br /> and safety training, medical monitoring, and espiratory fit testing as required by <br /> OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. <br /> All field personnel will have a responsibility to: <br /> • Read understand, and follow this plan. <br /> • Perform work safety. <br /> k.
