Soil samples <br /> for chemical analysis will be retained in the brass liners,i labeled, and capped with Teflon <br /> streets and plastic end caps. The samples will then be sealed in zip-lock bags, placed on <br /> ice, and transported to the laboratory accompanied by the appropriate chain-of-custody <br /> documentation. <br /> Soil Sampling for Stockpiled Soil <br /> Sail samples will be collected by advancing 2-inch diameter brass sample Liners <br /> approximately six inches to one foot into the soil stockpile. One discrete sample will be <br /> collected per approximately 50 cubic yards of soil. Soil samples for chemical analysis will <br /> be retained in the brass liners,labeled, and upped with Teflon sheets and plastic end caps. <br /> The samples will then be sealed in zip-iock'bags, placed on ice, and transported to the <br /> laboratory accompanied by the appropriate chain of-custody documentation. <br /> Laboratory Aa2lysiis of Soil Samples <br /> Analysis for TPH-g and TPH d will be poformed by modified EPA method 5015. <br /> Analysis for benzene,toluene, ethylbenzene,xylenes, an&MtBE will be performed by EPA <br /> Method 8020. Fuel oxygenates DIPS, EtBE, MtBE, TAME, and TBA will be analyzed <br /> by EPA Method 8260. Lead analysis will be'perfonned bey EPA Method 6010. <br /> i <br /> J <br />
