The approximate locations of these proposed wells are shown in <br /> Figure 1. The exact locations of the wells will depend upon landowner approvals_ If the final <br /> locations are significantly different than those shown i.rt Figure 1, the locations will be submitted <br /> to Regional Board staff for approval. The wells will be constructed to a depth of approximately <br /> 30 feet in a similar design to the existing monitoring wells, depending upon conditions <br /> encountered. The monitoring wells will be drilled with a hollow stem auger, allowing'split spoon <br /> samples to be taken every five feet for accurate logging. The top ten feet or more of the wells <br /> will be ,ealed, and the wells will have locking caps. A typical design for the monitoring wells is <br /> shown in Figure 2.
