Advance 4 direct push soil borings on City of Manteca right of way to define the <br /> lateral extent of the contamination plume. One grab groundwater sample will be <br /> collected at first water approximately 17 feet below surface grade (bsg) and <br /> another sample at approximately 30 feet bsg. <br /> 2. Conduct a 7-day batch groundwater extraction from monitoring well MW-11, <br /> with option to conduct additional 7-day batch groundwater extractions if results <br /> of the monitoring well samples following the extraction effort failed to meet <br /> California Department of Health Services Primary Maximum Contaminant Level <br /> (MCL) of 13 micrograms per liter for MTBE. <br /> 3. Extracted groundwater will be treated using three 200-pound carbon canisters <br /> and discharge to City of Manteca sanitary sewer. Condor will obtain an <br /> Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit (IWDP). <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Limit the number of batch groundwater extraction to 3 rounds. A report <br /> evaluating the effect of groundwater extraction(s) should first be submitted to <br /> EHD to determine if more than 3 rounds of extraction is required. <br /> 2.
