Extraction, dated October 11, 2000 The Work Plan was approved by San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services as indicated in their facsimile dated October 20, 2000 <br /> (Attachment A) <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 501 W Kettleman Lane in Lodi, California The site is an active <br /> AM/PM mini-mart and ARCO service station Three gasoline underground storage <br /> tanks (USTs) and associated product lines and dispensers are present at the site <br /> Currently, six site wells are monitored and sampled quarterly During the third quarter <br /> 2000 sampling event, oil and grease were found to be present in well W-9 Prior to the <br /> third quarter 2000, well W-9 has had no reported concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons A SECOR sampling technician noted that it appeared as though used oil <br /> had been poured down the well Third quarter analytical results from well W-9 included <br /> concentrations of oil and grease at 430 mgtl and TPHg at 113 ppb Historical <br /> Groundwater Analytical Data is included as Table 1 <br /> REMEDIAL ACTIVITIES AND FINDINGS <br /> Groundwater Pumping <br /> The scope of work for batch extraction included the pumping of groundwater from well <br /> W-9 and sampling of the well after batch extraction to verify its effectivness <br /> Approximately 200 gallons of water were extracted from well W-9 on October 27,2000 <br /> 3017 Kilgore Road, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 916 861 0400 916 861 0430 Fax www secor com <br />
